Project Manager -- BA Required, Insurance Knowledge Preferred!

As Project Manager, you would champion the progress of implementing large projects and keeping all parties at task.
In this highly visible role, your ability to execute, follow-up and ensure that all deadlines are met would be vital.
If you thrive in a deadline-driven environment and enjoy interfacing with senior management, this is the position for you. Primary responsibilities include: Identifying and resolving project issues Coordinating the right Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) together to ensure the project objective Maintaining and updating an internal issue log Supporting with the business and technical departments Completing any executive ad hoc requests Developing PowerPoint presentations regarding executive requests if needed A Bachelors degree is required in Business, Accounting, Computer Science or Finance; an MBA is preferred.
A solid project management history is needed.
The candidate must be accustomed to managing senior level, large program implementation projects.
A background running ad hoc reports is a must.
Experience working in a virtual environment is needed.
A solid understanding of risk management technology, issue logs and project plans is preferred.
Project management certification is ideal.
Insurance knowledge is also favored.
A history working for a consulting firm or insurance company is a plus.
MS Project skills are needed.
Lotus Notes skills are preferred.
A strong proficiency in MS Office applications is necessary.
