Manager, Client Services
Job Description: CNET is looking for an experienced manager with an in depth understanding of online advertising and related industry process to lead an Account Coordinator team.
The Client Services group is responsible for supporting CNET Networks media sales team, processing insertion orders, managing the execution of client advertising campaigns, and providing CNET's clients unparalleled service & support.
The Manager, Client Services is charged with overseeing and supporting a team of 8+ Account Coordinators in our New York office, and is ultimately accountable for ensuring the successful creation, management and delivery of all ad campaigns.
The manager is responsible for staffing and training the Account Coordinator team.
This person will provide management support and facilitate the career development of the individual Account Coordinators as well as guide and motivate the team overall.
This individual will strive for optimal client satisfaction and provide top level service/support to the Sales teams.
As a Client Services representative, the manager will also be charged with working with the Senior Sales Managers and other operational team leads in helping define cross departmental efficiencies, and support CNET policy, process & procedure.
The manager should be able to work well independently and thrive in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for managing and developing teams and should be pro-active; detail oriented, extremely organized and should have advanced problem solving skills.
Additional Responsibilities: * Lead a team of 8+ Account Coordinators * Partner with Sales Management to ensure the Client services team is providing the highest level of support on-going * Provide strong representation & leadership for Client Services team * Interview and hire new Account Coordinators as needed * Create and execute comprehensive training plan/schedule and provide ongoing support to new and existing Account Coordinators * Work with ACs to manage expectations and establish career goals * Assist Account coordinators in the prioritization, management and execution of the sales cycle and account workflow.
* Challenge, motivate and educate the Account Coordinator team * Ensure fluid communication & process flow with other CNET departments * Facilitate AC workflow prioritization * Work closely with other CNET departments to define processes and create efficiencies Qualifications: Experience Required: * Bachelor's Degree in related field * Minimum of 4-6 years experience in internet advertising or related field * Management experience (3+ years) * Exposure or experience with a sales organization * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Quick Learner with proven ability to grow and lead a team * Strong partner communication skills with ability to work independently * Ability to manage competing priorities effectively * Exceptional applications experience (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) * Strong process management and multi-tasking abilities * Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills * Experience with online ad serving systems Please click here to apply.
