Interactive Project Manager

Summary A Manager within the Delivery Management Group (DM) is a team leader who often leads a component of a larger project.
A Manager assists an integrated Digitas project team to ensure accurate on budget on time completion of project deliverables.
Qualifications Job Experience Minimum of 4 to 6 years of professional project management experience, preferably in a marketing related field Education Bachelor's degree Skills Able to manage small projects or components of complex projects and allocate project resources Experience with assembling and managing budgets including bottom up budgets Able to develop detailed work breakdown structures Experience with risk management, change management, communications management Advanced Microsoft Project ability; Visio or equivalent, and Excel Understand Web technologies Traits & Distinguishing Characteristics Professional presentation, training and client facing skills Effective negotiation and conflict management skills Expressive and communicative written and verbal skills required responsibilities Essential Job Functions Support senior team members in developing project plans, budgets, staffing, for work in area of expertise.
Utilize a working knowledge of Digitas' capabilities and processes to integrate planning with Strategy, Creative, Marketing, Delivery Management, and Technology Actively support management of financial aspects of substantial projects including budgeting, time and expense monitoring.
Utilize knowledge of Digitas' Finance Dept's internal requirements Manage component of substantial engagements and support component deliverables management including the aspects of time, deliverable definition and development, and quality assurance.
Monitor and take corrective action to stay within time and expense limits Establish and maintain substantial and influential relationships with client peer working group and supports client interactions at all levels Construct a balanced team and ensures that team members are fully briefed and understand their roles and each other's contribution.
Solicit input and feedback on projects and assignments Openly and constructively discuss and seek to resolve differences of opinions; recognize different working styles and personalities; maintain objectivity in resolving conflicts.
Construct compromises where appropriate.
Identify and help to correct less than satisfactory working relationships.
Seek, evaluate and acknowledge the input of others through positive, non-threatening actions Effectively leverage learning from prior Digitas projects and clients to more effectively and efficiently tackle work on current client assignments Support agency operations, infrastructure, and development by: following corporate policies and procedures; giving constructive feedback on those policies/procedures; promptly and accurately completing timesheets, T&E's, and agency surveys; attending mandatory information sessions/focus groups regarding important aspects of our business; and treating our physical plant (offices and equipment) with respect For more information, visit www.digitas.com EOE
