Industrial Marketing Manager
Industrial Marketing Manager Opening in CPG Industry DYMO Industrial Summary: DYMO Industrial is a start up business unit within the DYMO division of Sanford and therefore is managed within the New Business Development department of DYMO.
DYMO Industrial is global in scope with concentrated efforts in the USA and Europe.
Position Overview: The primary responsibility of the Market Manager, Industrial and Construction (I/C), for DYMO Industrial will be to proactively plan, manage execution of, and measure the performance of marketing programs that drive demand for DYMO RhinoPRO branded products in the Industrial/Construction Channel.
You will also be responsible for coordinating the development of other sub-channels under I/C including Janitorial, sanitation and others in conjunction with the appropriate Strategic Account Manager (SAM).
Teaming with the Strategic Account manager for Industrial Construction and the IRWIN sales force (which DYMO Industrial utilizes for sales in this channel), you will have primary responsibility for the USA and secondary responsibility for Canada.
This position will report to the Sr. Marketing Manager for DYMO Industrial located at DYMO world headquarters in Stamford USA. Functional Responsibilities: The selected candidate will take a leadership role and have primary responsibility and accountability for the activities detailed below.
Business Planning: Work with Sr. Marketing Manager, the I/C SAM and DYMO Industrial team to create annual marketing plans for the I/C Channel.
I/C Channel Marketing Budget: Ensure that the I/C Channel Marketing Budget is invested in concert with business plans and strategy to maximize financial performance.
Marketing Communication: Lead the development, execution and measurement of branded advertising for RhinoPRO products in your channel.
Lead the development, execution and measurement of direct marketing programs for RhinoPRO products in your channel.
Literature Lead the literature effort for DYMO Industrial in your channel.
Promotional Programs: Manage a variety promotional programs that are executed on a national basis, at end user shows, direct via the web and with key accounts in your channel.
Creation, execution and measurement is required.
Trade Show Program: Manage all aspects of Industrial Business Unit Trade Show program including logistics, creative, props, show promotions, etc, in your channel.
Coordinate with appropriate personnel to ensure logistics of shows.
Distribution Work in partnership with sales managers to harness marketing programs to drive demand for RhinoPRO products through existing and/or new distributors Create and deliver presentations to customers Must Have: - Demonstrable experience researching and understanding end user needs and then translating that learning into compelling marketing programs.
- Strong business planning skills with an analytical emphasis are required to be successful.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to details required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and persuade others without having direct authority.
- Willingness to work hard and "roll your sleeves up" to get the job done.
- Strong computer skills and needed and you must be comfortable with technology products.
Location: DYMO Worldwide Headquarters in Stamford Connecticut Travel: Approximately 25-30% travel time.
Travel time may increase during key program cycles.
