Company recognizes the value of a diverse organization Associate Manager Consumer Products JOB DESCRIPTION: General Description: The Associate Manager provides expertise and account ownership of assigned customer and or channel within the National Sales and Strategy team around: consumer/occasions insights, consumer/shopper insights, facilitating the category management business process, and providing strategic analysis to solve retail economics & supply chain issues.
This role supports the business with ongoing data gathering, reporting, tracking and analysis so that the customer & teams' execution is measured, monitored and evaluated on a timely basis.
This Associate Manager is accountable for coordinating and collaborating with multiple system and process owners via support of Company Annualized Operating Plan (e.
g., Managing and Monitoring Investments, ROI Measure for A&M investment / Overlay budgets, and creating the Executional Framework).
This position is ultimately measured by volume, profit and relative share change by Channel, Customer Team, Brand, and Holidays.
Primary Accountabilities: The Associate Manager will be accountable for: Supporting and collaborating on channel and customer development plans to include objectives, goals, strategies, tactics and measures.
Producing standardized data reports (timely scorecards) and channel specific custom analysis.
Building category objectives and goals consistent with customer role and definition Preparing paperwork for funds administration, maintaining appropriate backup and tracking Tracking Customer Team performance on a timely basis JOB REQUIREMENTS: 4 year Bachelors degree 3-5 years related experience CPG Influence and collaborating skills across functions and operating units Proven analytical abilities Advanced excel and PowerPoint skills Experience and knowledge of using syndicated data (AC Nielson, IRI Tracking) IS A MUST HAVE!!!!!!!
