Analyst - Telecom Industry Market Research

This position is responsible for analyzing data and writing reports summarizing study findings.
Scope: All facets of data analysis including data preparation, analysis, charting, and report writing.
Responsibilities
1. To create and execute analysis of communications industry market information in order to provide clients with insight and guidance for decision making.
2. Use analytical and strategic thinking to monitor communications industry competitive conditions and develop analysis based solutions to issues affecting clients' business objectives.
3. Perform data analysis, and generate reports and presentation deliverables Competencies: - Applying knowledge and skills to deliver client insight - Delivering projects - Working effectively in global and multi-cultural environments Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Ability to think creatively in response to business issues - Ability to apply statistical methods to analyze and provide insight into business issues - Ability to apply analytical and strategic thinking to gathering and analyzing information, designing and testing solutions to problems and formulating data analysis plans - Experience generating and specifying tabular and graphical reports utilizing at least one major reporting platform (for example, SPSS, Quanvert, Crystal reports, Hyperion/Brio, etc.) - Strong computer skills including expert abilities in MS Excel and PowerPoint Exceptional and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills Knowledge of/experience in the communications industry and/or syndicated market research data is a plus - Ambitious self-starter with ability to work both independently and within teams in a fast-paced environment - Minimum of Bachelors degree in a related field and 3+ years experience in market research, marketing and/or analysis.
