We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to: Assist in the recruiting and hiring process for warehouse staff.

Conduct orientation for newly hired Associates.

Supervise, develop, and train all warehouse personnel.

Maintain Associate morale and motivation within organization.

Document Associate behavioral and performance problems and disciplinary measures (both verbally and in writing).

In conjunction with the Branch Manager, evaluate warehouse Associates' job performances; conduct performance appraisals; recommend salary changes; and set performance goals.

Oversee packing and display of product in accordance with schematics, to ensure customer requests and needs are satisfied.

Oversee the internal set up of fairs for daily deliveries to include accountability of all fair support materials.

Accurately expedite school re-orders in a timely manner, overseeing UPS/ground shipping.

Reset picking lines to coordinate with Corporate schematics.

Adhere to local, State, and Federal regulations (OSHA, DOT, and EEOC).

Conduct monthly safety meetings, investigate job-related incidents and file reports.

Meet/greet customers during open houses, warehouse sales, etc. Coordinate warehouse Associates activities to provide maximum customer service.

Train workers on proper cash-handling procedures.

Schedule staff and maintain attendance records.

Sign and approve bi-weekly time cards for warehouse personnel.

Conduct periodic inventories and monitoring as required.

Attend and participate in sales and operational meetings.

Maintain business confidentiality relative to pricing, promotions, distribution methods, inventory, customer lists and financial reports.

Protect company assets, to ensure they meet Scholastic standards and report any unauthorized incidents, damages, or shortages to the Branch Manager.

Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.

Self motivated and disciplined with strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze, develop, initiate, and implement plans and strategies to achieve goals.

Prior experience with a sales/service distribution organization preferred.

Professional appearance/demeanor.

Computer literate.

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.

Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 300 lbs. unassisted.

Valid drivers license with good driving record.
