WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR: Vip Staffing
Directs, manages and coordinates the storage and distribution/shipping activities of the distribution department.
Works from orders schedules, customer orders or other data to plan and arrange daily work of the Packing and Shipping department using the most effective resources (personnel and equipment) to meet those requirements of the customer.
Follow progress of subordinates work.
Anticipate and or investigate causes of delay or inadequate performance; take corrective action within limits of established practice.
Reassign personal as workload necessitates.
Direct, instruct, assist and check subordinates performance of their daily routines and assignments.
Will supervise up to 20 -25 employees in warehouse setting.
Ensure quality awareness amongst the employees including ISO and QS standards.
Verify shipping and product specification from the customer, insuring conformance to the customers specifications.
Participate in training employees on work instructions, procedures, etc. Resolve all matters relating to deviations from procedures, work instructions or conduct of employees.
Must use detailed knowledge of operational and organizational procedures as well as basic computer literacy skills on both PC and Microsoft Dynamics.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills and eye for detail.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as requested or required.
