Job Description The Supervisor of Filtration Services will be responsible for managing and directing work activities in the Filtration/Serum Processing area and support production areas.

Oversight responsibilities include prefiltration of raw serum and final filtration of all liquid media products.

Additionally, cleaning of all mobile and formulation tanks, cleaning, assembly and autoclaving wrapping of production supplies.

Individual will ensure record maintenance to comply with GMP's and SOP's.

Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervise Filtratioin Services group and coordinating production activities to include: Cleaning of mobile and stationary formulation tanks, Cleaning of drum filler, Steam disinfection of tanks, Set-up, monitoring and cleanup of filtration trains, Prefltration of raw serum which consists of ordering, receiving, thaw and filtration of serum, Heat inactivation of serum products, Integrity testing of filters, Filtration of liquid media under class 100 hood using aseptic techniques, Environmental monitoring, Ordering and maintaining adequate production and laboratory supplies.

Train and mentor current and future staff.

Write and revise SOPs and DMRs as required.

Establish performance metrics for Filtration Services staff and manage to those metrics.

Manage group in accordance with current GMP regulatory requirements.

Interact with customers (both internal and external) and assist in preparation of budgets.

Job Qualifications Candidate should have a Bachelors Degree in the Life Sciences or a HS Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience preferred in a GMP production environment.

Strong organizational skills and record keeping and the ability to work overtime when needed.

Written and oral communication to include accurate and legible documentation skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, team oriented, independent work skills and a strong work ethic.

Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
