Shipping And Receiving Material Handler
Material Handler - observes all safety rules and follows all safety procedures.
--Maintains up to date certification for operating motorized material handling equipment.
--Holds a valid CDL license in order to relieve Warehouse Driver when necessary--Prepares material for shipment following required specifications and ships within deadline assigned via common carrier or company vehicle --receives and assists with handling and processing all shipments of supplies, packages, paper and equipment.
--properly loads and unloads shipments to and from facility using motorized material handling equipment.
--processes various reports and handles various shipping/receiving administrative duties--maintains a clean and organized warehouse area--completes pre-shift checklist on all powered material handling equipment including battery water, charging and cleaning the machines.
Qualifications: Qualified candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in shipping/ receiving in a manufacturing environment.
Must have certification in the safe operation of motorized material handling equipment, and must have a valid CDL license.
Needs proficiency in reading, understanding and following through with written instructions and performing basic math functions.
Familiar with shipping and handling logistics and procedures in a warehouse environment.
Must be able to lift and place up to 65lbs.
High School Diploma or equivalient.
