SENIOR RESEARCH CHEMIST / RESEARCH FELLOW Contact: Steve Castaldi Director of Research Location: Waterbury, Connecticut Position will report to Director of Research MacDermid Incorporated currently has a position open for a Senior Research Chemist or Research Fellow in our Waterbury,CT.

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSBILITIES Hands on scientist for new product development and formulation of new product chemistries for fabrication and production of printed circuit boards Knowledge of printed circuit board fabrication and chemistries (desired but not required) Independent thinker and innovator Responsible for determining physical and chemical properties and their interactions Highly motivated individuals with strong communication skills both written and oral Familiar with analytical techniques (FT-IR, UV-VIS, HPLC, NMR, LC/MS) Establish experimental requirements to solve complicated problems and interpret results, make recommendations, and propose deadlines for completion Participate in PDP (Product Development Protocol) QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Advanced degree in chemistry ( Inorganic or Organic) Several years of practical experience in Electrochemistry, Surface chemistry , Plating and/or Corrosion chemistry Knowledge of experimental design Some travel may be required for new product introductions and Beta-site installations Salary depending on experience Please contact Steve Castaldi at 203-575-5765 or email at: scastaldi [at] macdermid [dot] com
