90 Cent shift Premium Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 3rd Shift 6:00 am 3:00 pm Assignment Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description: Individuals filling this position are responsible for performing product inspections and audits of quality control programs, performs manufacturing first article inspections as well as sampling and testing of incoming components and raw material.

2. Assist Quality Personnel with first article layout, including reports for first piece submission, engineering changes, tool corrections, etc[^%dot%^

3. Assist with capability studies for qualifying sample runs for production and provides data per customer requirements.

4. Interact with the Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineers and Customer Support Representatives to obtain and retrieve information to satisfy customer requests.

5. Complete special projects as assigned, including but not limited to, calibration and gauging studies.

6. Responsible for verifying the quality of their own work.

7. Assist with QFD on new or existing product

8. Assist with Quality Planning.

9. Assist in the production part approval process.

10. Assist with internal and external corrective reports.

11. Attend Job Start, Job Launch and QIT meetings when required.

12. Comply with documented procedures and work instructions.

13. Recommend improvements that result in reduced operation cost, higher levels of quality or a decrease in throughput time.

14. Understand the quality policy and conduct work to achieve its goal.

15. Have a solid understanding of ISO 9001;2000.

16. Understand basic internal auditing skills and to be a member of the audit team.

17. Perform incoming inspection of materials.

Physical Abilities

Requires completion of high school or equivalent.

Some technical training in engineering, math, and statistics desired.

Prefer two years experience in the manufacturing environment, with some experience in quality or technical training.

Prefer certified quality technician (CQT).

Prefer employees have the ability to read blue prints; have basic computer skills, GEOMETRIC DIMENSIONAL TOLERANCE (GDT) and have knowledge of basic/advanced measuring techniques.
