Quality Inspection Group Leader
Quality Inspection Group Leader Looking for a Quality Inspection Group Leader.
Duties are to: Position description: Provide strategic and functional leadership in all areas of the manufacturing plant, including - Following area strategy relative to quality functions, and then assisting team in translating those strategies into actions.
Supervising Team Member's (TM's), and Team Leader's (TL's) to ensuring that problems are communicated and solved in a timely manner.
- Ensuring a diverse workforce environment.
- Developing a strong working relationship with the Quality and Production Team at all levels to ensure great communications and understanding of both floor side and plant issues.
Quality Inspection: - Supervising shipping, and process quality to achieve best-in-class levels.
- Strategic Planning / New model development.
- Supporting production to identify and solve problems promoting built-in-quality.
- Supervising receiving inspection assuring the quality levels for incoming materials.
Stamping and Welding: - Body accuracy, Weld integrity, and overall surface quality of white metal.
Paint and Plastics: - Overall surface quality, color match, film thickness, water leak, and parts fitting.
Assembly: - Torque, function, water leak, and fitting of component parts.
Position qualifications: - Associates, Technical Degree or equivalent related experience.
- 3 to 5 years Automotive Manufacturing experience, including 3 years in a strategic leadership role required.
- Experience required in Vehicle Quality Management operations required.
- HR knowledge and experience a plus.
- Cross-functional understanding of Automotive Manufacturing required.
- Project management experience required.
