Printer Engineer

They are currently in strong growth mode and have asked us to assist them in finding a Printer Technician for the Philadelphia area.
As a Printer Technician, you will be responsible for providing support and technical evaluation of printer and printer/applicator products, including thermal transfer barcode and RFID printers.
Job duties include: Problem identification and resolution of existing products New product evaluations Technical customer/sales support Coordinating important customer start-ups Technical documentation and training Conduct on-site problem resolution when required Participate in product recommendations for new system proposals What's in it for you??? The ideal candidate for this position will have the following requirements: Associates degree or above in Electronics or Computer Technology 5+ years experience or equivalent experience and education Working knowledge of thermal transfer printers, related software and materials and bar code technology Experience working with Intermec, Zebra, Sato, Printronix, Datamax, Sweda, etc. a plus Basic component level digital and analog design and debugging skills Experience with creating technical training programs for sales and service Experience with LAN, serial and parallel communication interfaces (coax & twinax a plus Compensation range will vary depending on experience.
