Optometric Equipment Repair Technician

We currently have an opening for a top notch individual for the position of Optometric Equipment Repair Technician.
The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide routine cleaning and maintenance of optometric lane and automated equipment for company owned locations on a rotational basis.
Repairs and refurbishing of standard optometric equipment.
Visit each location at least once a year for preventative maintenance and thorough equipment cleaning and calibration.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess formal factory training from major ophthalmic manufactures.
Previous experience as an ophthalmic repair technician.
Proficiency in the functionality and repair of all optometric equipment.
Extensive travel required.
Ability to lift 75lbs and greater.
Physical dexterity and mechanical ability.
Organizational and reporting skills.
