Operations Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION: Solid company in the Allentown, PA area is seeking an Operations Manager.
Job duties will include: Direct and coordinate daily activities of Warehouse Operations.
Assign Projects, present Team Strategies and prepare operational schedules and coordinate activities.
Ensure compliance with Employment Laws.
Ensure compliance with all Company policies and Federal, State and Local OSHA regulations.
Recruit, Hire, Train, Appraise and Coach Supervisor level team members.
Promote an open door policy and team environment.
Ensure compliance with all transportation and safety regulations.
Manage the Site Sanitation program in accordance to AIB standards.
Report On-the-Job injuries and accidents.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: BS Degree plus 3+ years related experience.
10 years Supervisory experience with some working experience in a Union environment.
Familiar with WMS and RF. Ability to read and interpret documents.
Ability to solve problems.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
Knowledge of basic Warehouse procedures and Safety Laws.
Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Employment Laws.
