Material Planner/Inventory Control Manager
Material/Inventory Control Manager Responsibilities; Manage procurement of raw materials and packaging.
This includes the following: Order raw materials to be used in Bear Naked's plant as well as selected co-packers.
Provide long term volume estimate to suppliers on a quarterly basis.
Negotiate pricing for assigned materials and search for alternative suppliers.
Manage safety stock of raw materials to allow flexibility in production scheduling while considering supplier long term agreements, lead time, and obsolescence.
Monitor production activity to ensure a smooth and controlled flow of materials in a timely manner to meet production requirements.

Responsible for oversight and control of Bear Naked's inventory at both in-house and 3rd party facilities.
This includes the following: Liason between warehouses and accounting when performing monthly physical inventory.
Enter production data for all co-packers, manufacturers, and Bear Naked plant.
Enter transfer data for all movements of WIP and finished goods in system.
Reconcile actual monthly physical inventories to company's books.
Establish processes to enhance inventory controls in an effort to mitigate yield losses, obsolescence and improve efficiencies.
Determine required movement of finished goods and WIP throughout Bear Naked's network.
Prepare ad hoc analysis and reports.
Monitor obsolete materials and finished goods and report monthly to management.
Excellent knowledge of Excel a must.
