Master Black Belt
PURPOSE OF POSITIONIdentify, manage and complete Six Sigma improvement projects using the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) processes, to drive the finance process within the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES Drive and participate in implementing Six Sigma in the finance organization.
Identify, prioritize and implement multiple process improvement projects within the corporate finance department.
Optimize business processes and identify workflow automation solutions within the corporate finance department.
REQUIREMENTS Black Belt Six Sigma certification and a proven track record of Six Sigma achievement in a transactional/support services type of environment.
Detailed knowledge and implementation of Six Sigma methodologies such as DMAIC and DFSS to pinpoint issues and identify solutions within the financial workspace on individual projects as well as enterprise level efforts.
Possesses understanding of financial and other business measurements, applies them effectively in the Six Sigma process.
Strong data analysis skills to drive business decisions based on data.
5+ years combined process, project, and/or functional management experience within multiple functional organizations.
Strong orientation toward and use of appropriate processes to improve the productivity of organizations.
A minimum of three years experience as a Black Belt and a combined experience of 5+ years with Six Sigma methodologies.
Demonstrated master of Six Sigma skills and statistical and modeling tools.
DMAIC or DFSS leader on at least five cross-functional or enterprise level projects.
3-5 years experience in software development projects.
A Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.
Possess a high energy and the drive to engage multiple organizations and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to handle stressful situations with grace.
