Manager - Project Management
Position Summary: Function as DPG facility post-production project management lead for assigned clients.
Responsibilities
1. Function as key liaison between assigned client projects and DPG Client Operations.
Represent DPG at appropriate client meetings.
Develop and manage project based relationships between clients and the Production Center Operations team.
2. Help to guide complex client and internal partnership relationship
3. Recommend new client service opportunities, and helps to evolve DPG policies and procedures to ensure constant improvements in efficiency and effectivenes
4. Keep assigned clients up-to-date on the current capabilities and skills of DP
5. Oversee or participate in the resolution of problems with production center client
6. Interface continuously with multiple departments -- including Library Services, Closed Captioning, CCQC, Network Operations, and Production Management -- to ensure completion of client projects by articulated deadlines.
7. Manage project workload and plan for resources to be available by pre-arranged due dates.
Work with Production Center Scheduling to assign editors to projects; adjusting schedules as needed to meet daily production needs and accommodate emergency edits/fixes and last minute special projects.

9. Conduct complex trade-off analyses among conflicting client needs and requirements and available resource
10. Create and develop new project management methods, procedures and processe
11. Accountable for adherence to established DCI and DPG core values and policie
12. Ensure project managers and coordinators meet established customer service quality standards and service level
13. Prepare maintain and update project assignments.
Work with Account Management to perform monthly volume analysis to help predict future workload and resource needs.
14. Work within DCI systems to ensure that all program versions have been created and that the necessary information has been input.
Confirm details on delivery and editing requirements through Production Summary Reports.
15. Manage special client needs of adjunct departments (Affiliate Sales, Ad Sales, Marketing, Communications, etc.), including staffing and resource scheduling.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements: * A Bachelor's degree in Film / Video, Journalism, Communications, English or related field is preferred.
* A minimum of 5 years experience in broadcast and/or cable television is required.
* A minimum of 4 years experience in broadcast and/or cable television post production is required.
* Candidate must have proven decision-making and leadership skills.
* Candidate must have proven vendor/client relationship skills.
* Candidate must have proven ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Candidate must have thorough understanding of post production processes.
* The legal right to work in the United States.
