JDE OneWorld Business Solutions Developer III
enhances, supports, and maintains the JDE solution applications A Business Solutions Developer for the Enterprise Applications team works within his or her area of specialization to enhance, support, and maintain the JDE solution applications.
This position is responsible for identifying and evaluating changing business situations, which impact the application requirements, while fully participating in the discovery process, analysis and definition of system enhancements.
The person in this role coordinates his or her activities within the Enterprise Applications team, and other affected teams, related to the development, testing, deployment and training of new applications, application software patches, or system enhancements and related business processes.
A typical Business Solutions Developer manages a portfolio of work requests related to his or her area of specialization and is responsible for prioritizing and resolving those requests.
This role also provides Tier 3 support to end-users as needed and maintains through continuing professional education a level of competency appropriate for the position.
Business Solutions Developers often work in concert with team leads and others to develop, review and manage work plans, time estimates and resource budgets of software update, support and enhancement projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Five years' business experience, preferably in manufacturing industries.
Three years experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is required, while EnterpriseOn
8. 11 experience is preferred.
Two years experience preferred with the following: strategic planning and software selection for enterprise systems; overall systems analysis and design; operational review of systems and database performance; enterprise application implementation, training and support.
