Compensation Analyst
Compensation Analyst SUMMARY: This position reports to the Manager, Compensation and is responsible for assisting in the administration and analysis of Company-wide domestic and international compensation programs.
Overall focus of this position is to administer compensation programs that support the achievement of corporate objectives and to ensure a competitive compensation position within our industry and marketplace.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Recommending salary increases.
Assisting in the administration of all annual compensation processes; (i.
e., salary planning, the Incentive Compensation Program, annual equity grants) and research and recommend appropriate survey companies.
QUALIFICATIONS: Undergraduate degree and 2 to 4 years of relevant or an equivalent experience base of 5 to 7 years Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.
Broad working knowledge of state and federal laws related to compensation issues.
Excellent analytical and applied statistical abilities.
In-depth knowledge of salary planning techniques, compensation administration and job evaluation methodologies.
To perform successfully, an individual must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as Access and Crystal Reports.
Prior experience with equity administration and an HRIS system required.
Familiarity with Cognos and Utilipro is a plus.
Occasional travel to plants and subsidiary locations.
