Chemical / Process Engineer
Chemical/Process Engineer (HOUSTON, TX) Job Description: Key Accountabilities Include: Managing and/or executing the Process Engineering work within the Services Team Carrying out conceptual engineering and optimization studies in order to define gineering projects in terms of technical scope, cost execution strategy and duration Managing external consultants/contractors Co-coordinating internal and external interfaces and manage their resolution Contributing to the development of departmental plans and work methods Maintaining and developing skills and passing on knowledge and experience to other team members Job Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must possess a BS in Engineering, and you must have approximately 5 or more years experience in Process Engineering with skill levels commensurate with those contained in the Process Engineering Competence Based Development Skills Portfolio for a Process Engineer Specifically the position will involve over site and management of the manufacturing, intergration and startup of thermal desorption plants (mobile) that are used for the treatment of contaminated solids.
These plants will be both indirectly heated and direct (incineration) Technical professional with a solid technical background Good communication and inter-personal skills coupled with strong hands-on operating experience Ability to demonstrate the aptitude to develop and be effective across a wider skill spectrum (technical, commercial and interpersonal) Direct and relevant experience of at least one of construction, commissioning and operations A strong sense of team-based values is essential Operating across a wide spectrum of geographical and cultural environments with diverse OU Being pro-active in the identification of value creation ideas and compliance with the ORP Demonstrate the technical integrity of engineering projects Flow Assurance skills Process Modeling tools, eg HYSYS , PipeSim, PETEX etc Operations and commissioning skills Technical codes and standards skills Petroleum Engineering skills Project economic skills Project Management skills
