Business Continuity Project Manager
Excellent opportunity for Business Continuity Professional.
Candidate will review and evalute the current BCP and manage the overall BCP Project.
Reporting directly to the CIO, this position will (1) Develop and coordinate business resumption planning using a formal project methodology, (2) Adapt a web-based BCP tool for communication, (3) Develop and document a full Business Impact Analysis (BIA) across multiple lines of business and locations, (4) Enhance, develop, and coordinate quarterly BCP testing, including writing test scripts, training staff, and documenting test results, (5) Identify and hand-off to appropriate Systems Administrators and MIS Management all technical issues, (6) Update and maintain the formal enterprise-wide BCP document, (7) Propose enhancements in line with industry guidelines, and (8) assist in the creation of our alternate data center.
5+ years managing equivalent projects in a large corporation with a proven track record.
The successful candidate will have
1. Good consulting, analysis, written and spoken communication, interpersonal skill
2. Responsible for leading the corporate team (both MIS and business units) that defines, develops and supports the Information Security program and Business Continuity program for the compan
3. Ensures site teams and regional coordinators are trained in all aspects of DRR
4. Ensures uniform communication to employees globally.
Responsible for activating site, regional, functional, and executive teams in event of disaster.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, or Engineering or equivalent job experience, MBA a plus.
