Our Branch Managers are responsible for managing a Scotts LawnService branch with an estimated revenue budget between five hundred to seven hundred thousand dollars (new branch) to five million dollars (established branch).
Responsibilities include all phases of branch operations and results, including staffing and associate retention, training, budgeted production, sales and service goals, customer service, quality and compliance.
They are also responsible for developing annual and seasonal operational plans and successfully executing strategies to achieve revenue and profit goals while delivering top-notch service.
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of service experience as the controlling manager of a branch operation, preferably delivering a service at customers' homes within a service area.
Must have used decision-making, organizational and problem solving skills as a routine part of daily activities.
Strong communication skills and employee relations experience is necessary.
Ability and passion to provide service that exceeds the customer's expectations on a daily basis.
Successful experience managing a budget is helpful.
Ability to meet goals and attain desired business results in a team-oriented environment is vital.
Experience managing a team of service people and a fleet of service vehicles is desirable.
Knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, lawn-care or other agricultural background is helpful, but not required.
Pesticide License is a plus; must have ability to become certified Must have valid Driver's License Ability to relocate is strongly desired.
