Assembler , Mechanical 1 Job Description: A.
Performs routine assembly operations of a repetitive nature on electro mechanical components and subassemblies in the product line in accordance with the company's procedures for safety and quality.
B: Works with samples, simple drawings, as well as written and verbal instructions.
Uses hand tools such as long nose pliers, power screwdrivers and soldering iron to perform work.
Distinguishes colors for color-coding purposes.
C: Reports to their assigned Production Supervisor Job Requirements: A: High School diploma or GED; One to twelve months related experience and/or training.
Previous production and vocational skill preferred.
B: Prior experience in electronics production/manufacturing is preferred.
C: Ability to read and understand a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences in English.
Ability to participate in a team environment.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions.
