WebSphere Application Remote Support Specialist
Job Details We are actively searching for a WebSphere Application Remote Support Specialist to fill a Long Term Supplemental position in Atlanta, GA. This position is a Long-Term Supplemental position that can last up to 3 years but will not exceed that amount of time.
The position offers almost all of the IBM Benefits including paid time off and IBM site holidays.
Looking for candidates to provide Remote Technical Support in WebSphere Application environment.
Specialists are required to take ownership of customer calls.
Utilize PD/PSI to diagnose WebSphere Application Server failures on multiple platforms including Windows, Linux, AIX, Sun Solaris and HP-UX.
Perform product specific troubleshooting techniques and use available troubleshooting tools to analyze application problems.
Strong verbal skills are essential to facilitate positive interaction with WebSphere customers.
Must also identify, document and monitor problem resolutions.
Ability to use product related publications, databases and searching of online resources is required.
Agents will need maintain current skill level and obtain appropriate Certifications/qualifications as required.
1 year experience on WebSphere Application Server Software and supporting applications.
Experience working with WebSphere administration functions, configuration, problem determination, and application maintenance.
