Store Manager STORE MANAGER ALICE LOCATION - Job #: VFR2133 BROWNSVILLE LOCATION - Job # VFR2134 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Responsible for the efficient operation of a retail store, including, but not limited to, staff selection, supervision, training and evaluation bank deposits and cash control; merchandising;; processing merchandise available for resale; and security and safety of company employees and property.
Position will be expected to achieve established goals for sales, payroll, human resources, safety and expense control.

Ability to identify needs and make appropriate suggestions to management regarding training and development of employees.

Ability to remain professional in demeanor and appearance, regardless of situations or relationships involved.
Valid Texas drivers license, acceptable driving record, and criminal history as they pertain to Agency standard.
Ability to display sensitivity toward persons with or without disabilities/disadvantages.
Possess a positive attitude toward corporate, customers and employees.
Ability to make sound hiring decisions, recognizing quality employees.
Sound judgment and common sense in solving every day management issues.
Strong work ethic, character and integrity.
Ability to manage processes, systems and people effectively.
Ability to manage at a mid level within a busy retail environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
PHYSICAL EFFORT: Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time as well as bend, stoop, kneel.
Must be able to see to inspect donations for flaws and determine value.
Requires travel to and from the store and the corporate office, and on occasion to other retail stores.
________________________________________________________________________ WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to tolerate dust and mold from donations as well as extremes of heat and cold at times.
Must be able to tolerate high pressure, stress in fast faced environment, requiring ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, without losing composure.
Must be able to work extended hours.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1-3 years management experience.
Prefer a Bachelors degree in management.
