Softlines Apparel/MCA Lead (Department Supervisor) Sears

Job Summary APPLY IN PERSON AT THE CARLSBAD SEARS STORE OR APPLY AT www.sears.com/apply Store Unit#1678 2561 El Camino Real Carlsbad CA Responsible for the replenishment of the sales floor, price changes, inventory adjustments and sales floor readiness as well as supervision of associates engaged in the same activities.
Maintains knowledge of Sears' merchandise and uses this knowledge to assist and sell to customer.
Supervises a team of 5 -10 hourly associates and will fully participate in their selection, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements Required: - Minimum of 1 year of retail supervisory experience is preferred - Department specific product knowledge - Strong selling and customer service skills - Strong drive for results - Coaching and development skills - Merchandising skills - Knowledge of store and retail operations - Excellent communication skills - Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
