Senior Java Developer
Java Developer - Senior Sr. Java Developer "" Enterprise Architecture The Senior Lead Consultant will lead state-of-the-art projects in the areas of Enterprise Architecture, web-based application development efforts, and messaging middleware.
S/he will work with customers to identify requirements, provide technical leadership, and, assisting the project manager, must have the technical foresight needed to design and develop cost effective solutions that meet functional and performance requirements.
Successful candidates must have demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and assist the project manager in controlling cost, delivering on schedule and managing customer expectations.
REQUIREMENTS " Current/recent experience working for a recognized mid-sized to large consulting firm.
" 5+ years overall IT experience with 2+ years experience architecting integration framework using distributed components such as J2EE, XML, WebServices and Oracle databases.
" Experience leading portal development efforts or other java based web development efforts " Experience mapping business requirements to technology capabilities, identifying gaps and omissions and designing end-to-end solutions.
" Assist project manager in scoping work to be accomplished, leading technical aspects of the project, and identifying and mitigating areas of risk.
" Experience implementing applications into production, leading teams of 2-5 people.
" Experience leading offshore developers highly preferred.
" Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field " Ability/Willingness to travel for engagements; most work is in central NJ or suburbs of Philadelphia " Requires current authorization to work in the U.
S., availability within 2-3 weeks, and excellent communication skills.
