Senior Business Analyst
5+ yeas Business Analyst Role Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Software Business Analyst.
The ideal candidate should combine superior analytical skills, business acumen with a strong grasp of useful software design to deliver industry-leading desktop software solutions.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will fulfill a variety of roles within the group and will have the opportunity to work closely with our Product Managers, Technical Staff and internal business partners to design creative solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
As a Senior Business Analyst you will be responsible to design, document and verify creative software solutions by creating detailed functional software specifications.
You will need to work closely with Technical Project Management, Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Client Services, Sales, and Training to make sure these functional specifications meet the client needs.
You will be expected to: Translate Business Proposals into formal, detailed Business Requirements Lead business requirement design sessions, analysis and verification with technical team members ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, traceable, and test-able Act as a liaison between Product Management and client side technical teams during development phases.
Leverage software Usability Team to design client friendly applications Serve as a subject matter expert for the Product Development group during the development lifecycle Participate in the creation and approval of project plans Review and provide input on test scripts to ensure thorough testing of new functionality Perform some system testing and production certification Create release notes Quickly and effectively triage and dispose production issues and client enhancement requests Work with other Analyst groups to ensure consistency across product channels and back office systems Work successfully and productively in an innovative and fast paced environment You absolutely MUST HAVE the following: 5+ years as a business analyst Superior analytical skills Financial services experience Proven experience designing easy to use software interfaces Previous experience writing use cases Demonstrable ability to analyze business requirements and define functional software specifications meeting complex business needs Ability to work independently and with a team Results oriented and proven leadership qualities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Solid judgment with a demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Visio skills A positive attitude, passion and energy Demonstrated ability to balance priorities on simultaneous projects APPLY NOW AT : www.millgroupusa.com Contact Us At: 437-2360
