SAP Global Trade Systems (GTS) Consultant- BCS
Job Details These consultants will use their in-depth SAP/GTS consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the clients business environment in order to achieve client expected business results.
Workplace M-Mobile/Telecommuters Division Global Business Services: 05-BCS BUSINESS CONSULTING SVCS Desired Skills 4-8 years experience in delivering SAP solutions with GTS (Global Trade Systems) expertise and strong configuration / implementation experience.
Skills Required: SAP technical and functional knowledge of SAP's GTS module.
Basic knowledge of customs law, tariff schedules (different systems of commodity codes by comparison, use in SAP GTS).
Import processes (import control including Sanctioned Party List, Screening, customs procedures, duty calculation, communication with authorities).
Export processes (export control including Sanctioned Party List, Screening, customs procedures, communication with authorities).
Transit system, (import and export, communication with authorities, especially in NCTS).
Supply Chain knowledge/ Sales & Distribution.
Regulatory knowledge.
Import/ Export Process knowledge.
Data Analysis skills.
General IT skills for writing technical specs and troubleshooting.
Software life cycle and testing experience.
The majority of our work is performed at client site
80. 100% travel will be required; candidates must be located close to a major airport.
