Rational Portfolio Manager (Sales Specialist)
Job Details We are actively searching for Rational Portfolio Manager Sales Specialist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for selling Rational Portfolio Manager product (software) directly to customers.
The successful candidate will work independently or is the leader of a team of sales specialists, providing advice and guidance to other specialists.
The successful candidate must have experience with PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) Discipline and Product Knowledge.
The successful candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of the specialty's offerings and is responsible for the success of those offerings within the business unit.
The ideal candidate typically leads large and/or complex opportunities, Major Field of Study: Technical and/ or business or equivalent experience.
The successful candidate must have previous Software Sales experience, Software development experience, negotiation experience, sales opportunity identification, strong teamwork experience, and software tool experience.
The successful candidate must have a passion for the business.
The successful candidate should have previous technical sales experience and previous software sales background is highly desirable.
The Rational Portfolio Manager Sales Specialist must reside in Boston or New York.
The successful candidate will be mobile and will work remotely with minimal travel (up to 50%) required.
Our Sales people are measured on sales results so compensation includes both base pay & commission and is commensurate with experience.
