Project Manager
Project Manager Strategic Marketing and Advertising firm seeks a Project Manager to be based in Dallas, TX to oversee the design and creation of a multi-million dollar facility.
Primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders.
Overseeing all components of the project to ensure timelines, costs and project objectives are met. Key Responsibilities: Early Project Work (generally complete, although may require some ongoing attention): Identification of strategic objectives that SMART Lab is addressing Development of preliminary project scoping and approach Development of initial business case Preparation of any related funding approval documentation Attaining input and buy-in from key project stakeholders Project Management Duties, including: Development and maintenance of Business Requirements Documentation Gathering business requirements input from various project stakeholders Attaining sign-off on Business Requirements Documentation Review of Business Requirements Document with technical team Review of Technical Design response from technical teams Development and implementation of Risk & Issue Management and Decision-Making Processes Creation and maintenance of high-level and detailed project plans Communication of timing, milestones and deliverables to all key stakeholders Implementation of a regular (eg through a dashboard) and ad-hoc Communication Process to team members and to senior managers/executives Implementation of a Change Control Process critical to controlling scope creep Development of a long-term vision for project (eg Phase 2 and onwards) Creation and institution of a Communication Process Developing Operational processes for Facility for post-launch Developing workflows and job descriptions for on-site resources Supporting experimental design efforts (a key element of post-launch on-site activities) Key Relationships Include: Internal business (Marketing) stakeholders: ensuring their requirements are addressed throughout the process; attaining buy-in and sign-off at appropriate points in the project process; re Internal Teams: working with technical teams (includes Facilities, Engineering, Real Estate, IT, Security, AV) to ensure business requirements are appropriately translated and addressed within technical designs; negotiating trade-offs and finalizing deliverables; managing technical teams high-level milestones and deliverables External Vendors: keeping vendors aligned with project vision; making short and long-term decisions to support client success; managing vendor compliance and deliverables
