Operations Manager/Office Manager: Brightstar Healthcare-Memphis Tn
Operational Manager Summary: This role will be responsible for oversight of the Office, including all aspects of managing the office and direct and indirect supervision of both office and field staff.
Profile: The successful candidate will be a seasoned manager with experience in front-to-back business operations.
Comfort with employee and client relations plus financial management and budgeting is a must.
This person should be willing to take on any task, going from contract negotiation to new-hire paperwork with ease and assurance.
This candidate must be detail-oriented while possessing the innate ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated winning attitude and commitment to getting the job done.
A Leader with an innate ability to coach and mentor will thrive in this role.
Providing stellar customer service to both internal and external customers is the standard for all BrightStar staff.
This position is an office (non-remote) position.
Qualifications: ¨ Minimum two to four years customer service, preferably in a services arena ¨ Minimum three to five years of direct employee supervision, including both exempt and non-exempt personnel ¨ Strong recruiting, interviewing and hiring skills ¨ Human Resource Generalist experience preferred, with emphasis on employee on-boarding and retention programs ¨ Excellent Customer Service and Support skills ¨ Impeccable telephone communication skills ¨ Collections experience preferred ¨ Must be able to function as lead while also working as part of a team ¨ Microsoft Suite (5 years minimum) ¨ Business management system utilization required ¨ Payroll system utilization required, ADP preferred ¨ Great Plains experience preferred ¨ Demonstrated solid pro-active and re-active decision-making skills ¨ Possess a selling attitude as all employees market the service or the brand Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: ¨ Manage all incoming phone-calls ¨ Convert prospects to clients (through phone support and field visits and supporting the field sales team) ¨ Handle all escalated customer concerns ¨ Process all electronic applications, converting all applicants to their proper status in ABS ¨ Recruit, interview, hire, perform background checks (including references) and performance manage employees (this will be supported by the staff RN for clinical positions) ¨ Distribute and review pre-employment skill assessment profile tool for candidates and orient to client cases (this will be supported by the RN for skilled cases) ¨ Process payroll ¨ Determine and regularly re-assess Bill and Pay rates; set up rates in ABS ¨ Client billing ¨ Collections of receivables in a timely manner ¨ Great Plains cash applications ¨ Competitor analysis, including regular competitive calls ¨ Additional duties will be assigned as needed Disclaimer: This job profile identifies the general duties and minimum level of skills required to perform this job.
