Job Summary TITLE: Divisional Operations Analyst PAYCODE: Salaried DEPARTMENT: Field Store Operations Support REPORTS TO: Divisional Asset Protection Coach Divisional Finance Coach SUPERVISES: DIRECT REPORTS: None INDIRECT REPORTS: None GENERAL SUMMARY: Supports the store base by interpreting and summarizing company asset protection metrics, and overall P&L statements.

Helps the Divisional Team maximize sales and margin dollar production with relevant report analysis and follow-up.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Scorecards Divisional performance daily on selected benchmarks, by monitoring key asset protection and other financial related reporting.

2. Works with District Analysts daily to ensure proper follow-up is given to key measurements of financial benchmarks.

Checks the checkers.

3. Communicates regularly to all District Coaches/Regional/Divisional teams on general Asset Protection and Finance issues.

4. Presents weekly rankings and analysis to Divisional Asset Protection Coach and Divisional Finance Coach on metrics performance.

Forecast the trends based on past results.

5. Prepares P&L analysis at fiscal month-end reviews, pinpointing opportunities within each district for future improvement.

This includes building presentations for use in structured financial reviews.

6. Works with District level teams to ensure proper and timely follow-up is given to one-time corporate exception reports and requests for information.

Rolls up collected data in a consistent format.

7. Prepares (for Divisional approval) standardized ROI projections and follow-up reporting of local level marketing (and other discretionary expense) initiatives, in conjunction with District Coaches.

8. Attends and participates in regular Division level staff meetings.

9. Spends select days during the month working at a designated local training store (as a management team member) to gain practical "front line" skills.

10. Provides input on future succession planning in Divisional Asset Protection hierarchy.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Four Year Degree from a recognized College or University.

2. Minimum three years experience in a retail environment (Asset Protection/Finance areas preferred).

3. Sufficient oral presentation, writing and retail math skills to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.

4. Analytical ability necessary to interpret and summarize statistical data.

5. The ability to work both independently, and to organize/prioritize the efforts of other people.

6. Fluent in computer operating skills, and software knowledge: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Photo/Video Editing.
