Word Processor - Evenings Work hours for this position 1:00PM 9:00PM.
Under the general direction of the Word Processing Manager/Coordinator, responsible for operating computer and word processing equipment to compile, type, revise, combine, edit, print, merge, and save/store documents utilizing all Firm word processing programs (including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
In addition, provide secretarial assistance at secretarial desks and act as backup to Word Processing Coordinator when required.
Occasionally provide secretarial assistance at secretarial desks when requested by attorney and/or Manager/Coordinator.
May be used as a resource to solve technical problems with documents.
Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent and four or more years word processing experience preferably in a Word Processing Center in a large legal or professional services firm; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer proficient with advanced word processing skills and technical knowledge.
Highly skilled with solid working knowledge and experience in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Excellent knowledge of DeltaView and/or CompareRite a plus.
Keyboarding skills of 60 wpm preferred (with low error rate).
Experience with Financial Services documents a plus.
