PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: The Senior Marketer will lead the implementation of West's product initiatives within the Small Law Firm (SLF) segment.
This person will be responsible for collaboratively developing opportunities and implementing strategic plans to drive revenue from new products within the Small Law Firm segment.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: Lead the implementation of SLF's new product growth strategy Understand marketing and competitive issues in the small law firm market Evaluate growth opportunities from new and/or non-traditional products for key small law sub-segments Interpret and analyze financial and market trends to ensure effective, segment defined new offerings come to market when and where necessary Partner with finance, database marketing, new product development, market research, field sales and other segments to collaboratively explore issues, develop recommendations, and implement marketing solutions Translate broad strategies into clear, measurable objectives and marketing initiatives Effectively launch new offerings through the appropriate sales and distribution channels Work with West's sales and distribution channels to optimize offerings as a means to drive growth Present marketing strategies to generate support and enthusiasm across internal departments, management, and field organization Analyze and develop procedures to measure and track success of channel strategies and programs Qualifications Education and Experience Four-year college degree in business or marketing related field, MBA or JD preferred 5-8 years business experience in strategic marketing or business/product development with progressive responsibilities and revenue accountability Knowledge of segment marketing, legal industry or sales channel management a plus Direct experience in the legal field or information industry a plus Experience developing and executing marketing communication programs Experience developing and executing market research programs Knowledge and Skills Highly developed strategic thinking skills Self-directive, proactive, action-oriented individual Able to take ownership of a project and drive to a logical conclusion Proven planning and project management experience Proven ability to manage cross-organizational teams Strong analytical skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills For immediate consideration, please click here:
