RESPONSIBILITIESAs the Records Assistant you will perform general records management tasks, activities and projects.

Create folders for new and existing matters, file documents into existing folders, complete file inventories, locate and route files upon request, update folder labels when changes occur, organize files for review, assign and manage file space, prepare materials for storage, and collaboratively assist with Records Team functions.

Ensure client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS1) High school diploma, plus 1-2 years experience in legal records environment.

2. Proficiency in document indexing; alpha and numeric filing.

3. Experience in supporting an Intellectual Property practice preferred.

4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

5. Ability to take an assignment from inception to completion with minimal supervision or by following broad guidelines.

6. Ability to prepare accurate, highly detailed work product; strong organizational skills.

7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build effective internal and external client relationships.

8. A highly proactive, solution-oriented approach to work and interactions.

9. Ability to organize time, prioritize workload effectively, and work independently.

10. Strong team player skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals at all levels of an organization.

11. Typing speed of 40 accurate wpm minimum.
