Visit our website at www.beallsinc.com Loss Prevention Agents Job Description: Beall's is accepting applications for Loss Prevention Agents in our department stores located in the areas of Jacksonville/Fernandina Beach/St.
Augustine, Florida.
Our Loss Prevention Agents report to the Loss Prevention Manager and assist management in the implementation, coordination and administration of the company Loss Prevention policies, programs, and practices within the stores.
The position also includes responsibility for reduction of financial loss to the store through training, loss prevention audits and shoplifter apprehensions.

This position has an hourly starting salary of $8.
50 or higher, based on experience.
Job Responsibilities: Apprehends and detains shoplifters; notifies appropriate Loss Prevention personnel and proper authorities of illegal or dishonest activities; completes necessary reports and paperwork.
Conducts audits of specific departments on a regular basis; notifies management of inventory inconsistencies/suspicious activities.
Monitors compliance with all Company policies and procedures dealing with physical inventory, customer service, cash office and cash registers.
Monitors all physical controls including alarms, closed circuit TV and ink tagging compliance to maximize effectiveness.
Experience/Qualifications: Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills; establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, store associates and customers.
Prior experience in loss prevention is preferred, but not required.
Valid FL drivers license is required.
Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
High school diploma or equivalent.
