EOE LIBRARY ASSISTANT Candidate will manage the circulation of library materials using an online integrated system.
Oversee filing service, including scheduling, setting up, etc. Perform ready reference as needed.
Maintain organization of library.
Keep resources current and accessible.
Assists patrons with checking out materials.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Hours: Monday- Friday 9am - 5pm with Overtime as needed Job Requirements: Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of one year of related experience.
Familiarity with an integrated library circulation system, preferably Innovative Interfaces Millennium.
Proficiency in MS Word and WordPerfect.
Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with others.
Ability to stand at a workstation for extended periods and to exert moderate to high physical effort.
Flexibility to adjust hours to meet department needs.
