Legal Secretary-Litigation

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Qualified candidates will have a minimum three to five years years experience as a legal assistant in a law office or corporate law department.
Successful candidate will have experience providing support to legal staff for preparation of correspondence, trial or discovery preparation, scheduling, data maintenance (Timekeeper, Abaccus, etc.), client/claim/home office contact, opening and closing files.
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION? This individual will be responsible for legal secretarial support to assigned trial attorneys, and assists in overall support of the office as needed.
Includes documents production, scheduling and calendar activity, data maintenance in company systems, interactions with clients, court personnel, Home Office and Claim, opening and closing files, filing, photocopying, mail and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
