Jr.Trainer
Great Entry Level Training Opportunity in the NYC Office of large National Law Firm! Trainer -- Jr. Technical Trainer Responsible the NY Office's training program relative to desktop applications, its structure, and design.
Conduct training of new employees and current staff on all levels.
Conduct document training procedures, create training manuals, quick reference guides, etc., and keep all documentation up to date.
Coordinate with Help Desk and other IT staff to create and maintain application reference materials on the Firm's intranet.
Assist and coordinate training for other offices.
Conduct video conference training sessions for other offices.
Conduct "lunch time series" for brief update training or Q&A sessions.
Participate in special projects, as required.
Create and modify templates and Word macros, as needed.
Job Requirements Associate's degree or equivalent and two or more years technical training experience specifically in developing, implementing, and conducting applications training pertaining to a large practice law firm; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess excellent writing skills with experience in writing technical documentation (e.
g., training manuals, quick reference guides, etc.). Strong conceptual understanding of desktop applications and MSCE Certificate preferred.
Extensive knowledge of document formatting and an understanding of document management systems and Internet software.
