********************************************************************************************* We are currently searching for a professional for the position of Franchise Paralegal, located in our corporate office in Irving, TX. Successful candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a corporation that franchises or licenses the use of a trademark.
Position responsibilities include drafting and preparing transfer agreements along with ancillary documents, draft amendments to document changes to franchise/licensing agreements, and draft cease and desist letters.
Candidate will perform legal and factual research, prepare written reports, maintain reference files, and assist with drafting, filing, and managing FDD and state registration laws.
Additional Requirements: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or pre-law.
Candidate must be highly motivated and results driven.
Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have excellent organization skills.
Must have excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Word.
