Enhanced Due Diligence
Employee will be responsible for: - Reviewing client files to ensure all required KYC documents and / or information are / is included (ie biographies, USA Patriot Act Certification, financials etc) - Reviewing BCP to ensure it has been completed correctly, key dates match in related systems and consistent with client file - Reviewing CIF and the USA PATRIOT Act Cert database to ensure accurate information is recorded and Certification documents scanned.
- Conducting OFAC, DNDBW and WorldCheck (or other internet engine) searches for client owners, key senior managers, or nested correspondents based on AML-risk requirements.
- Acting as a liaison to ensure that potential match identified as a result of any search is properly communicated to the CE and when applicable ensure that responses are reviewed by the SCO and filed in the client's Compliance file.
Analyze WorldCheck matches and help resolve them for the CE's.
- Documenting review findings and work closely with the CE's to ensure missing elements are resolved and/or obtained in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that the departments MIS tracking document is current The candidate should be detail oriented and possess: - 3+ years experience in reviewing corporate customer KYC information as a Quality Assurance Specialist and/or Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Customer auditor/compliance officer preferred.
Comparable KYC related experience as a client executive or credit officer of a regulated financial institution may qualify - Undergraduate degree - Familiarity with corporate documentation and internet search engines, required to perform due diligence - Excellent communication skills, required to interact with client executives, senior and middle management, and compliance officers.
