attorney contract corporate corporate JD labor law legal real estate Job ID: 3016 Company Name: ZanderMax Location: Reno, NV; USABend, OR; USA Corporate Attorney SUMMARY: Reviews and negotiates contracts, addresses employment issues, and responds to a wide variety of requests for legal assistance from various company departments and staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Drafts, reviews, and negotiates company contracts including but not limited to real property; project development, financing, employment, consulting, and related contracts; non-disclosure agreements.
- Ensures compliance with corporate governance matters; maintains the companys corporate records.
- Ensures compliance with legal, contractual, and risk management policies to minimize and limit corporate liability, manage risk, and optimize value of contracts.
- Recommends alternative actions as required to conform with corporate policies and strategies.
- Performs periodic administrative audits including but not limited to corporate documents review, contracts, employment conditions, intellectual property, and insurance and guarantees.
- Provides information and advice on corporate, real property, project finance, labor and employment law issues.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Must have a Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution and be licensed to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
- 4+ years of related experience or equivalent; corporate law experience preferred.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Ability to work with all levels of management- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills- Ability to manage priorities and workflow- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm- Acute attention to detail- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
