By all standards, UHS is a great company to work for! Job Description: Position Summary Reporting to the Security Supervisor this position protects life and property of all persons on Hospital premises and patrols hospital buildings and grounds to prevent, fire, theft and vandalism.
Secures, unlocks and protects hospital buildings.
Responds to security need of hospital personnel.
Job Requirements: Position Requirements ¨ 2-5 years experience in the field of law enforcement and/or security or equivalent.
¨ Current Guard Card and Mace permit required prior to hire date.
¨ Assaultive Behavior Management certificate required within 90 days of start date.
¨ Background check to be completed prior to hire date.
Facility Information: The Hospital is now a 228-bed facility on two campuses, providing comprehensive healthcare services.
It is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, employees over 1000 trained healthcare workers, and has a Medical Staff of approximately 300 physicians representing over 40 specialties.
