Security Officers are responsible for protecting company assets and property from loss or damage that may be incurred as a result of theft, negligence or procedural error.
Officers are relied upon heavily to fully understand and enforce all departmental policies and procedures.
Officers are also responsible for completing inter-departmental reports and logs accurately and timely by using Microsoft applications, meeting all requirements as they relate to each individual security post at the Customer Service Center and operating and monitoring activity using CACTI systems, access control systems and alarm systems.
This position will conduct physical security tours, escorts and special assignments when necessary, as well as perform duties such as: entry/exit control, metal scan and x-ray inspections, alarm response and emergency response are pertinent to the job.All officers must be available to work rotational shifts, seven days a week including weekends and holidays.
Some overtime will be required when necessary to support the operation.
Potential candidates should have distribution center security experience and/or Emergency control center/dispatcher skills and/or a related college degree.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are a must.
Computer experience preferred.
