Regional Loss Prevention Director MS, AL, GA Friedman's Jewelers, a national retailer of fine jewelry, with over 400 stores in twenty states is currently seeking a Regional Loss Prevention Director to work in the Mississippi, Northern Alabama, and Western Georgia Markets.
Up to 80% travel is required.
Regional Loss Prevention Director Under the direction of the VP of Loss Prevention, the Regional Loss Prevention Director will implement, manage and oversee programs, processes and practices that investigates and reduces internal and external losses at store level, and ensures that inventory levels are accurate and in line with company perpetual records.
TYPICAL DUTIES
1. Conducts internal and external theft, inventory, and special investigations at stores.
2. Submits written reports on investigations with written recommendations on preventing similar losses in the future.
3. Conducts loss prevention audits that ensure company operating procedures and loss prevention policies.
Identifies areas of vulnerability to thefts and provides on-site training to reduce losses.
4. Communicates frequently with Regional Vice Presidents and District Managers regarding security and loss prevention matters.
5. Develops and maintains liaison with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to recover merchandise, prosecute criminal cases, and learn of crime activities in an area.
6. Develops and maintains liaison with UPS and Federal Express security investigators to reduce transit losses and investigate transit losses.
7. Develops and maintains liaison with LP Departments in competing jewelry retailers to keep abreast of industry crime trends.
8. Works with field and Support Center management to implement inventory control systems, effectively communicate and provide training on new procedures instituted.
9. Monitors and tracks internal transfers, providing reports on activity.
10. Assists in the development and implementation of programs and processes that will protect company assets in times of natural disasters.
11. Performs all other tasks and special projects as requested.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience: Minimum 6 - 8 years retail Loss Prevention experience.
