Law Enforcement Data System - Subject Matter Expert
**PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN HUNTSVILLE, AL** INCEPTION Technology Solutions, Inc. is currently searching for a candidate to perform as a Subject Matter Expert on a Law Enforcement Data System.
This assignment will result in proposal responses, studies, evaluations, recommendations, and solutions to highly complex and important law enforcement based software engineering or technical problems.
The job offers unique opportunity to help steer an industry leading commercial software product; furnish technical advice on the adequacy and/or feasibility of enhancement requests and make recommendations on changes necessary to resolve problems and automate processes; develop reports, technical assessments and recommend courses of action concerning emerging requirements and direction; and coordinate with different technical disciplines and other internal/external organizations.
Contributions at this level may impact direction in areas of design, development and production of products.
Candidate will also act as an advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research and applications.
REQUIREMENTS BS Degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline is required 10 years related experience (could be less for perfect candidate) US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) Prior experience in IT law enforcement records management is preferred Other desirable qualifications include working knowledge of proposal support, requirements definition, system engineering and integration, software cost estimation, technical writing, data modeling, software design, relational database applications, data security, and web service applications For immediate consideration forward a MS Word version of resume to Pat Kennamer at jobs [at] inceptiontechnology [dot] com [dot]
