Strategic Partner Development Manager, AdSense For Audio - Newport Beach
Strategic Partner Development Manager, AdSense for Audio - Newport BeachThis position is based in Newport Beach, CA. Google seeks a Strategic Partner Development professional who can bring his/her partner/business development experience to assist us in structuring and negotiating significant and complex advertising-based partnerships with leading radio broadcasters.
Ideal candidates must be extremely partner focused, proactive, and self-sufficient, yet work effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
The candidate must also be comfortable presenting to Google senior management and negotiating with the senior-most executives at our partners.
Responsibilities: Identify, structure, negotiate and close large, strategic revenue-generating relationships with radio broadcasters.
Drive open issues to successful closure cross-functionally within Google, including legal, finance, support and operations.
Accurately forecast probability and time of contract completion.
Requirements: MBA/JD and 3+ years or related partner or business development experience preferred, or BA/BS and 5+ years of related partner or business development experience.
Hands-on experience negotiating complex Internet deals.
Expansive understanding of online search and advertising industry (metrics, trends, players, challenges, etc.). Familiarity with radio advertising world helpful.
Strong understanding of financial modeling.
Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
Outstanding sales skills, (especially in persuasiveness, composure, diplomacy).
Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment.
Attention to detail.
Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management within Google.
